Approaching the Whittier tunnel.
To go inland from Whittier, you need to go through a tunnel that's used by both railroad and vehicle traffic - and it's only one car wide, so it's one-way traffic.
And the train gets priority. And you get to wait for the traffic light to turn green - which can be quite a while.
