Day 2: Sunday, July 31: Took the Heathrow Express to London, then rode a Hop-On, Hop-Off bus.

We took the Heathrow Express from Heathrow to Paddington station in London.
It was very comfortable, very fast, and very expensive.

No, we did not ride the London Eye.

We had a brief glimpse of Palace of Westminster (home of the Parliament)

Elizabeth Tower (home of Big Ben, at the north end of the Palace of Westminster)

We ate lunch here.

We had excellent Italian food for dinner. Just a short walk from here to London Paddington station.

Again at Paddington, we rode the Heathrow Express back to Heathrow.
(We were staying at a hotel adjacent to the airport.)
