We decided to spend another Thanksgiving vacation visiting Puerto Rico.

We visited El Yunque National Forest![]()

Lots of loopy twisty narrow roads throughout the Rain Forest
(too busy driving, and most of the pulloffs were jammed with other tourists).
Warning if you drive PR-191: it dead ends after about 13 kilometers of twisties,
and you get to retrace your route all the way back.
Amazing, but they don't have any maps of the roads at the entrance to the VC -- she advised us to take a photo of the one at the information desk. Duh!Here's all they give you:

We ate outdoors, under an umbrella during a passing rainshower.
Interesting use of old wood chairs -- to hold planters.
