Day 6: Tuesday, November 29: Thessaloniki.
Thessaloniki is the second-largest city in Greece, with over one million inhabitants in its metropolitan area.

We visited the Jewish Museum of Thessaloniki, and a synagogue, and drove past old mansions.

On the bus

We visited a synagogue. Our tour guide explained things.

This gentleman sang for us

A bus-tour of old buildingss that were intermingled with modern stores and buildings along a main street.

There were citrus trees everywhere.

Interesting that this sign is in English as most signage in Greece is, understanably, in Greek.
